Simply Positive
You have to first envision yourself “doing what you want to be doing”, figure out ways in your mind to do it, map out a plan, & then start an action to get the ball rolling from one of the plans.
Don’t forget it is also important to “ask” for what you want. And, also to be direct. People have a hard time reading your wants, needs, & intentions. They will often give to you…or help you given their ability & time…IF you simply state your mission, purpose, reason or goal by asking.
We feel good about ourselves when we feel needed or can help others in some way. We are flattered when others depend on us or even ask for advice. I can not help or do unless someone directly asks me. And even if I can not, I can often possibly help, direct, & advise in other ways.
You will never know what possibilities are around you, or encounter opportunities…if you don’t first motivate yourself to “try” with an inspiring vision, plan something, start a chain of action, & ask around. People are distracted by their own busy lives. Their attention & time is often directed towards those who are direct, active, visible, & positively inspired with good intention…who capture their attention.
Make the effort to reach out or communicate with others. Don’t be afraid to ask. What do you have to lose? We have to find our way through life & it starts by asking. Eventually you learn, find help, or discover new opportunities simply through the path of asking. How do you think people get anything? Or anywhere? The more you research & ask directly, the more it leads you somewhere. And no…people won’t think any less of you for asking. They will admire your courage & ambition for reaching out & trying even if they can’t help. :)
